The Kind Roastery & Brewroom, Bengaluru’s first experiential all-vegetarian roastery with vegan and gluten-free options, is thrilled to announce the opening of its second outlet in the city. Following the immense success of its first location in JP Nagar, The Kind is set to bring its unique brand of coffee, community, and kindness to a new neighborhood, offering a haven for coffee enthusiasts and food lovers alike.
At The Kind, coffee is an art form. They offer a diverse selection of manual brews and house blend espressos, meticulously crafted by skilled baristas who understand the intricacies of brewing the perfect cup. From Cold Brew Samplers showcasing a spectrum of flavor profiles to the refreshing Mango Kaffé Tonic, The Kind’s coffee menu caters to every taste and occasion.
The Kind’s menu goes beyond just coffee. They celebrate vegetarian dining with innovative and diverse dishes, all prepared using fresh, seasonal, and local produce. New additions to the menu include a hearty Korean Ramen Bowl bursting with umami flavors, gluten-free pizzas with unique toppings like the crispy kale pizza, and the Jackfruit Malabar Curry, a traditional South Indian dish showcasing the region’s rich culinary heritage. Whether you’re looking for a satisfying lunch, a light snack, or a decadent dessert, The Kind has something for you.
The heart of The Kind lies in its vibrant community. The founder, Pallavii Gupta, believes her cafe is a space where connections are forged, ideas are born, and friendships are shaped. “Our environment is meticulously crafted to evoke feelings of kindness and inspire creativity,” says Pallavii. “We want The Kind to be a sanctuary, an escape from the everyday grind.”
The new outlet boasts a visually striking and calming design conceived by Principal Architect Madhurima Kordale of The Local Studio, along with her team: Mohammed Farhan (Junior Architect), Yashaswini VS (Junior Architect), and Hridya Rajeev (Junior Architect). Floor-to-ceiling textured wall panels in neutral and earthy tones create a serene backdrop. The strategically placed Brew Bar, clad in vertical sandstone, grabs attention upon entry, showcasing coffee and delectable treats. Movable furniture allows for adaptable seating arrangements, while the private dining area transforms into a conference room with fluted glass and tech amenities. This design prioritizes a clutter-free, Zen-like atmosphere, ideal for a visually stimulating and relaxing escape.
The Kind’s future is brimming with exciting possibilities. They are launching a new retail line featuring fun merchandise and home brewing tools, with exciting collaborations underway. Their vision is to become a pan-India brand by 2027, with plans for another two outlets in Bangalore by 2025.
