The Leela Hyderabad announces TIGA

The Leela Hyderabad is thrilled to launch TIGA, an innovative dining destination celebrating Southeast Asia’s rich culinary tapestry. TIGA, named after the Malay word for “three,” celebrates an outstanding fusion of Singaporean, Malaysian, and Chinese cuisines.

Under the direction of Chef Albert Rayan, a Singaporean culinary master, and Chef Shah, a Malaysian cuisine expert, TIGA brings authentic Southeast Asian flavours to Hyderabad with precisely picked products imported straight from their countries of origin. The restaurant has even started growing specific herbs and spices to ensure perfect authenticity in every meal.

Singapore’s rich culinary heritage, inspired by Chinese, Malay, Indian, and Peranakan cultures, is reflected in iconic dishes like chilli crab and Hainanese chicken rice. Malaysian specialties such as Nasi Lemak, Rendang, and Satay highlight the country’s vibrant flavour profiles and culinary skills. Complementing these is a classic Cantonese Yum Cha experience that includes fine teas and artisan dim sum, a popular social dining practice throughout the region.

At the opening, Mr. Rajesh Gopalakrishnan, General Manager of The Leela Hyderabad, said, “We are thrilled to bring TIGA to Hyderabad, giving the city a real taste of Singaporean, Malaysian, and Chinese cuisines.”
