The upcoming Marathi film Aga Aga Sunbai! Kay Mhantay Sasubai?, directed by Kedar Shinde, has already been creating buzz because of its quirky title and energetic teaser. Now, the film’s title song has been released, and it delightfully captures the teasing banter, arguments, affection, and fun that define the mother-in-law–daughter-in-law relationship.
The title track is a musical portrayal of the humorous moments from everyday saas–sun dynamics. From playful taunts and cheeky complaints to the warmth and affection hidden behind them, the song beautifully captures the many emotions of this relationship. The track features powerful and lively vocals by Vaishali Samant and Priyanka Barve, whose singing brings the playful sparring and mischief vividly to life. Music by Kunal–Karan is a major highlight, blending traditional elements with a modern rhythm. The tune is catchy from the very first listen and naturally makes you want to hum along. The perfect harmony between beat, lyrics, and melody makes the song vibrant and full of charm.
The lyrics are penned by Valay Mulgund, who effortlessly reflects both the mischief and affection in the saas–sun relationship. On screen, Nirmiti Sawant and Prarthana Behere look stunning in traditional nine-yard sarees, and their lively chemistry and natural performances add to the song’s fun quotient.
