The film Mumbai Local unveiled an engaging journey that begins with a fleeting glance in a Mumbai local train and leads to a life-changing event. The trailer of this film was recently launched in the special presence of renowned actor and producer Swapnil Joshi. Mumbai Local has been written and directed by Abhijeet. The film is produced by Big Brain Productions, Anandi Entertainment, and Splendid Productions, with Nilesh Rathi, Prachi Raut, Sachin Agarwal, and Tanvi Maheshwari as producers, and Trimbak Daga as co-producer.
Featuring Prathamesh Parab and Dnyanada Ramtirthkar as the fresh lead pair, this film is all set to hit theatres on August 1.
In the story, a girl who seems to be losing everything in life and a boy who is failing at every battle cross paths during a Mumbai local train ride. This is where their story begins. Their love story receives a “green signal” during the journey itself. The film revolves around the fascinating turn of events that follow in their lives. Just like the gradually growing bond between the two, the trailer also unfolds slowly, piquing curiosity. Since this is the first time Prathamesh and Dnyanada are paired together, the film brings a fresh dimension. With a strong cast of talented actors, the film boasts a solid performance lineup. Besides that, the film is equally strong in terms of writing, cinematography, and music.
The film also stars Manmeet Pem, Prithvik Pratap, Vanita Kharat, Abhijeet Chavan, Aniket Kelkar, Sanjay Khapre, Sanjay Kulkarni, and Smita Dongre in pivotal roles. The cinematography is by Yogesh Koli, editing by Swapnil Jadhav, and creative direction and art direction by Vinod Shinde and Dr Sumit Patil, respectively.
The film’s songs have lyrics by Abhijeet Kulkarni and Abhijeet, with music composed by Dev & Ashish, Suchir Kulkarni, and Harshvardhan Vavare, while the background score is by Sameer Saptiskar. Nikunj Malpani has worked as the associate producer, and Rahul Thombre has choreographed the songs.
