The first part of Dharmaveer released in 2022 was a superhit. The legacy of Dighe Saheb is too vast to be showcased in just one part. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde expressed his pride and excitement for the film, stating, “Following Dighe Saheb’s footsteps, we have worked tirelessly on this project. There’s a powerful dialogue in the film that goes, ‘A true worker belongs in the people’s homes, not his own,’ highlighting the importance of a leader standing by the people in their times of need. Prasad Oak has brilliantly portrayed the character, despite never having met Dighe Saheb. Kshitij Date’s role in this sequel is also commendable. I wish the entire team all the best for the film’s success.”
On the eve of Guru Purnima, the trailer of Dharmaveer - 2 was launched.
