Already abuzz because of its teaser and songs, “Mana’che Shlok” has now become even more talked about after the release of its fun-filled trailer. The trailer launch event was recently held, where the film’s team announced a donation of ₹2.5 lakh to help people affected by floods.
The trailer showcases the chemistry between Shlok and Manava, the delightful hustle and bustle of their families, and the amusing twists and turns of the matchmaking process. Shlok’s family has started looking for a bride for him, while Manava’s family is busy searching for a groom for her. Amid all this chaos, what will happen to the dreams the two share? Will they come together? Will they agree to marriage? The audience is left eager to find out. The trailer combines moments of laughter, sweetness, and emotion.
Director Mrunmayee Deshpande says, “This isn’t just Shlok and Manava’s journey, it’s also the story of their families. It has relationships, love, friendship and plenty of fun. Viewers will feel it’s their own story and will be completely absorbed.”
Presenter Nitin Vaidya adds, “It’s a contemporary love story, yet firmly rooted in the framework of family. The trailer has sparked many questions in people’s minds and the answers will soon unfold in the film.”
Producer Sanjay Dawra shares, “The situations shown are ones that happen in every household. The little everyday quirks, the unexpected turns, and the amusing tale that emerges will definitely feel familiar to the audience.”
The film features a strong young cast including Mrunmayee Deshpande, Rahul Pethe, Pushkaraj Chirputkar, Suvrat Joshi, Siddharth Menon, Harish Dudhade, and Karan Parab. Seasoned actors such as Leena Bhagwat, Mangesh Kadam, Shubhangi Gokhale, and Uday Tikekar also play important roles.
“Mana’che Shlok” is set to release on 10 October, written and directed by Mrunmayee Deshpande, and produced by Shreyash Jadhav and Sanjay Dawra. The film will reach audiences through Starlight Box Theatres and Nitin Vaidya Productions.
