Karmaveerayan, directed by Dhananjay Bhawalekar, aims to promote social equality by depicting the life and work of the eminent personality, Padma Bhushan Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil. An extremely important figure, Bhaurao Patil, has played a significant role in promoting equality by recognizing its true meaning to society. Based on the life and work of such a great personality, the movie, Karmaveerayan, is all set to be showcased across Maharashtra from May 17, and the trailer has been launched on social media platforms.
Produced by TransFX Studios Pvt. Ltd., Karmaveerayan and presented by Pushkar Manohar of 7 Wonders. Directed by Dhananjay Bhawalekar, the screenplay is written by Anil Sapkal and Dhananjay Bhawalekar. Starring actors like Kishor Kadam, Suhas Sirsat, Upendra Limaye, Devika Daftardar, Tanaya Joshi, and Usha Naik, the film promises powerful performances. The cinematography is by Yogesh Koli, and Santosh Gothoskar has worked as the editor.
Bhaurao Patil started hostels under the legacy of Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj. He provided accommodation to children from all communities who desired education, thus initiating the process of inclusivity. He started teaching the children of all castes and religions under one roof, and even high-class and upper-caste children received disciplined education, reaching out to society at large. He even met Mahatma Gandhi during his tenure at the Shahu Boarding House. Bhaurao Patil’s journey, aimed at recognizing the true meaning of equality to society, will be witnessed through the movie Karmaveerayan.
