The grand trailer launch event of the much-awaited historical film Raja Shivaji, jointly produced by Jio Studios and Mumbai Film Company, was held today in Mumbai. The makers officially released the trailer on their social media accounts in both Marathi and Hindi.
Directed, acted, written, and produced by Riteish Vilasrao Deshmukh, the film is based on the life of India’s महान warrior Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. It presents an inspiring journey from young Shivaji to Raja Shivaji, driven by the dream of Hindavi Swarajya and unwavering determination. Notably, the film explores lesser-known yet significant historical aspects from a fresh perspective. The overwhelming response to the trailer has already heightened excitement ahead of its release.
The event was attended by Jio Studios Chairperson Jyoti Deshpande, along with Riteish Deshmukh, Sanjay Dutt, Abhishek Bachchan, Bhagyashree, Jitendra Joshi, Genelia Deshmukh, and music duo Ajay–Atul. Their presence added to the grandeur of the event and increased anticipation for the film.
