The much-awaited Ek Badnaam Aashram Season 3 Part 2 has finally premiered on Amazon MX Player, Amazon’s free streaming platform, delivering a nail-biting continuation to the gripping saga of power, revenge, control, and betrayal. Directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Prakash Jha, the latest chapter intensifies the drama within Aashram, as Tridha Choudhury’s Babita steps further into the game of deception and manipulation with Bobby Deol’s Baba Nirala. Alongside them, the crime drama also boasts a stellar ensemble cast, including Darshan Kumaar, Chandan Roy Sanyal, Vikram Kochhar, Aaditi Pohankar, Anupriya Goenka, Rajeev Siddhartha, and Esha Gupta.
Tridha Choudhury, who masterfully portrays Babita’s transformation, sheds light on the character’s evolution, sharing, transition and the challenges she faced, “The beauty of Babita lies in her unpredictability. Every character has a journey but Babita’s arc is particularly fascinating. From Season 1 to Season 3, we witness her evolution from a complex, grey personality to someone teetering on the edge of darkness as she surrenders to Baba’s influence. But just when it seems she’s completely lost, an internal shift begins. Having endured devastating losses, including her husband, Babita realises that only power she can rely on is within herself. Her hunger to carve out her own space in the Aashram drives her forward. As an actor, this evolution made her journey deeply intriguing for me. Discussing where she sees Babita’s journey heading, Tridha added “I would love to see more of Babita in the upcoming season beyond being Baba’s right hand.
