TVS Motor Company’s all-new adventure rally tourer TVS Apache RTX has been crowned the Indian Motorcycle of the Year (IMOTY) 2026 presented by JK Tyre, securing the most prestigious honours in the Indian two-wheeler industry. Built ground-up on the RT-XD4 platform with rally DNA, the motorcycle sets a new benchmark in the segment, enabling engagement with a new set of premium customers seeking performance and exploration.
Evaluated by a distinguished 27-member jury comprising senior automotive journalists from India’s most respected publications, the TVS Apache RTX took home the top accolade from a highly competitive shortlist of seven motorcycles spanning diverse segments, underscoring TVS Motor Company’s leadership in innovation, performance and customer centric engineering.

Launched in October 2025, the TVS Apache RTX marks TVS Motor Company’s entry into the adventure rally-touring segment, blending adventure-oriented capability with performance and everyday usability. Built around the all-new RT-XD4 299.1 cc liquid-cooled engine, producing around 36 PS and 28.5 Nm, the TVS Apache RTX offers advanced rider-focused electronics including multiple ride modes, cruise control, a slipper clutch with bi-directional quickshifter, and a feature-rich 5-inch TFT display with connectivity. Its muscular rally-inspired design, long-travel suspension and robust chassis make it equally capable on highways and off-road terrain.
