For many years, Zee Marathi has carved its identity through its stories and serials. This channel, which has made a lasting place in the hearts of viewers, has introduced a new initiative this year called ‘Amba Mahotsav 2025’.
The first-ever ‘seasonal’ celebration was hosted by the energetic trio of Pranav Ravarane, Titiksha Tawde, and Adhokshaj Kharade. Their chemistry and enthusiastic presentation brought vibrant energy to the entire event.
The program began with a speech by Zee Marathi’s Chief Channel Officer, VR Hema, who welcomed the guests and said, “Zee Marathi is not just a channel, it is a companion to every Marathi heart. Every step we take is dedicated to the trust of our viewers. Amba Mahotsav is a celebration of the sweet bond between us and our audience.”
She then made two major announcements: ‘Kamali’, a fresh and dynamic new series, will soon be aired on Zee Marathi.
And most importantly, Zee5 will present ‘Andhar Maya’, the first Marathi web series on the Zee Network. Its first look was unveiled during the Amba Mahotsav.
This web series is produced by Sharmishtha Raut and Tejas Desai under the banner of Sarth Motion Pictures.
While speaking about her journey, Sharmishtha Raut shared, “My journey as an artist began as a junior artist, and it was Zee Marathi that gave me my first opportunity. Later, my first project as a producer was also supported by Zee Marathi. Now, with Zee Marathi giving me a chance to work as a producer on their OTT platform and showing such great faith in me—it truly feels like a dream come true.”
After these major announcements, the fun and celebration of Amba Mahotsav began with full energy. Artists from various Zee Marathi shows participated in a variety of games. The mango-themed fun games, comedy, and the warmth between the artists created a delightful atmosphere.
Expressing their emotions, the artists said, “Zee Marathi is like our second home. Celebrating such a joyous event with all the members of this home brings a special kind of happiness. The Amba Mahotsav feels like that seasonal festival which we wish would come every year.”
The event concluded with a tasting session of delicious mango-based dishes. This first-ever Amba Mahotsav, celebrated together by artists and media, left a lasting impression in everyone’s heart.
