Ultra Play OTT Announces ‘David Dhawan’s No.1 Comedy Universe’

The film festival has been specially curated to honour the legacy of David Dhawan ahead of the release of his latest film Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai. An FTII graduate with a career spanning over four decades, David Dhawan became the creative force behind some of the most successful entertainers of the 1990s, particularly through his collaborations with Govinda and Salman Khan. His distinctive filmmaking style, blending humour, family drama, music, and mass appeal, helped define an entire era of commercial Hindi cinema.

Through this showcase, viewers can revisit some of his biggest entertainers that became synonymous with feel-good Bollywood fun.
