As part of its blockbuster content slate, Hindi Zee 5 has unveiled its next film in collaboration with Maddock Films, Sarvgunn Sampann, a bold and thought-provoking drama starring Vaani Kapoor and Ishwak Singh. Directed by Sonali Rattan Deshmukh, the film is set in a small town against the backdrop of the 1990s and features Vaani Kapoor in a never-seen-before avatar.
Blending humour with sharp social commentary, Sarvgunn Sampann follows a young woman whose striking resemblance to an internationally renowned adult film star becomes the lens through which society judges her, complicating her prospects of marriage and acceptance. Set against the backdrop of a close-knit small town, the film explores the pressures placed on women to conform to societal expectations, while delving into themes of identity, self-acceptance and individuality. Packed with nostalgia, laughter and heart, Sarvgunn Sampann promises a refreshingly unique narrative that challenges perceptions and conventions.
