Vaibhav Tatwawadi: A Wedding Story is a complete package film

Actor Vaibhav Tatwawadi is known for meticulously picking and choosing his projects. The Bajirao Mastani actor will next be seen in A Wedding Story, co-starring Mukti Mohan. He is currently promoting the film, which is set to release on August 30.

On why he chose this particular project, Vaibhav shares, “There’s always a gut feeling when it comes to deciding on a project. During the first reading of A Wedding Story, I immediately knew I wanted to be a part of it. I’m truly satisfied and happy with how it has turned out, and I’m glad I was chosen for this film.”

He encourages audiences to experience the film in theaters, saying, “I’m personally not a big fan of horror films, and I was honest with the director, Abhinav Pareek, about it. But he assured me that I should first listen to the story. The film is a complete package with romance, drama, and more. It really fits the bill, even for someone like me.”

Vaibhav adds that as an artist, his comfort zone definitely lies in romance and drama. “But despite being in the horror genre, the film strikes the right balance with everything else too. It’s definitely for people like me, who aren’t fans of horror, as it offers so much more.”

Regarding his views on rituals and superstitions, Vaibhav explains, “For me, rituals and superstitions are two very different topics. They belong to completely different worlds. People often assume that if you follow religious rituals, you must be superstitious, but that’s not the case. As an engineer, I’m careful about what I say. I might not believe in something because I haven’t experienced it, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. I think that’s the best approach, even for someone who studies science. My father is very religious, but he never forced his beliefs on us. He always said, ‘Only follow it if you feel it.’”
