Vaishali Arora, who has joined the cast of Rahul Tewary & Rolling Tales Production’s Udne Ki Aasha, says that she loves to play the role of Ria in the show. She adds that the entire team consists of experienced artists and being part of the show is a wonderful experience.
“It feels great to join the cast of Udne Ki Aasha because it’s such a beautiful story. It isn’t just based on two or three people but revolves around different characters. Every single character has a prominent and important part to play, contributing to the story in some way or another, which is the best thing about the show. Additionally, we have some well-known and talented actors on board, making it a very enriching learning experience,” she says.
Talking about her role, she says, “I am portraying the character of Ria, Joy’s daughter. Joy is Paresh’s boss. Ria is a dubbing artist and a very contemporary, independent, and sorted individual. She is passionate about doing things herself, rides her scooter, and manages her work independently. She meets Akash, Paresh’s youngest son, and they initially clash. Later, as a foodie, she orders food from various places and discovers that the chef she has been ordering from is Akash. They become friends when he helps retrieve a stolen chain for her.”
She adds, “What attracted me to this role were the similarities between me and Ria. We are both very independent, passionate, and modern. Unlike Ria, I don’t have a brattish attitude, but she does, though she is also very positive. Another significant similarity is that we are both foodies who enjoy eating rather than cooking. This was the best similarity I found between us. The moment I was offered this part, I knew I had to take it.”
Her character is quite integral to the storyline, she says, adding, “To see how Ria’s character impacts the storyline of Udne Ki Aasha, you have to keep watching! (laughs) Ria is the only wealthy character, which affects her behavior, temperaments, likes, and dislikes. It will be interesting to see how she interacts with Akash’s family and how their thoughts may or may not align. The dynamic between Ria and the family is something to look forward to. Let’s wait and see how Ria’s character develops!”
