Pinga singer Vaishali Made says it’s a blessing to be a public figure because of the respect that she receives. However, she feels that it has also made her lose her freedom to go anywhere without any restrictions.
She said, “The best thing about being a public figure, I think, is the respect that you get from the audience, which is also utmost important to me. I think it’s the most important thing for an actor.”
“Also, I think there is nothing in particular that I would like to change. But I feel that I lost my freedom to roam anywhere and everywhere. Whenever I go anywhere, I need my fans, which I also love the most, but sometimes we aren’t able to go out with family,” she added.
Asked how she strikes a balance between her personal and private lives, she said that being a woman, it is very difficult to maintain it, but with some help, she is able to do so. “When we have to go for dubbing, shows, events, and then also managing family and then studies and kids, it gets quite difficult. In all this, if you get support from your family, there is no problem, but in some cases, it’s different and difficult too, and I feel the spouses should be supportive,” she said.
Vaishali also spoke about the struggle and hardships when she started and called it a long journey. She said, “Competition is everywhere, from corporations to politics. I think competition should always be there, as it helps motivate people. But it should be a healthy competition. As it makes no sense to run a race alone.”
Any advice for newcomers? “A person’s journey is not short in real life. It’s a long journey behind it. Maybe we don’t know behind the scenes. I would like to tell the newcomers that it is not easy to earn success, money, and games so easily. It is going to get more difficult as we have so many competitors in every field.”
