Kiss Ishq N Konnections (KINK) season 1 winner Varsha Hegde calls being in love a celebration. Though she doesn’t have anyone special in her life currently, she has not given up on the idea of love.
She was married at a young age, but it was toxic, to say the least, and she came out of it at the right time. However, she is an old school romantic and is waiting for that moment again. “Love is pure, love is precious, love is beautiful, love is unconditional, but rare today. Love is everything in the world, the world won’t function without love and, as right now in this space, I am single but having said that I am an old school romantic person and would be waiting for the moment in my life,” she said.
“For me, being in love is a celebration. Every day, every moment staying with my partner and celebrating each other’s presence, uplifting, empowering, and never giving up on each other and enjoying the adventurous ride of life together is a celebration for me. Though I am single now, but being in love, I would celebrate my everyday Valentine’s Day,” she added.
She also stressed that love is an everyday effort, where people forget to give their best. She said, “Love doesn’t change. People change, they outgrow or start taking each other for granted or by ignoring small efforts and gestures.”
Varsha further went on to say that one shouldn’t settle for things that don’t look good and don’t feel compatible. She said, “A lot of times we fall for the qualities that we would like in a person, but we don’t realise whether those qualities are compatible with ours in the long run or not. We kind of tend to ignore or go completely blind to understand the difference and by the time we realise it, it’s usually too late.”
