Varsha Sharma, who portrays Gargi in the YouTube series Aukaat Se Zyaada on Freshh Mint, shares her excitement about being part of Yash and Mamta Patnaik’s Inspire Films production. The compelling subject of the show was a major factor in her decision to take on the role.
“When the makers told me about the show, I felt the subject was something that needed to be told, and I wanted to be a part of it. The character I’m playing has a lot of layers and was fun to portray. I was told to play myself, so there wasn’t much prep work involved, but we did have a lot of script readings,” she says.
Varsha is enthusiastic about the show’s concept and the positive experience of working on the project. “It’s a fun, college-based show, but it also carries an important message and addresses a social cause. The series strikes a balance between entertainment and meaningful storytelling, which is something I really admire.”
She also expresses her gratitude for the opportunity to work with Yash and Mamta Patnaik again. “It’s always exciting to work with Mamta Ma’am and Yash Sir. They launched me in my first TV show, so they hold a special place in my heart. I just want to make them proud with my work,” Varsha shares.
Her role as Gargi allows her to explore different facets of her personality while contributing to a narrative she believes in. For Varsha, Aukaat Se Zyaada is more than just another project; it’s a chance to be part of something meaningful and impactful.
