Vimarsh Roshan, who is seen as Digvijay Maheshwari in Prateek Sharma and Parth Shah’s Pukaar: Dil Se Dil Tak, which is produced under their banner, LSD Studios, does feel the need to put in any extra effort to maintain a friendship. Speaking on the occasion of International Friendship Day, which will be observed on August 4, he said, “I don’t put in an extra effort to create or sustain a friendship. I believe in it being organic.”
He believes friendship is a very important part of human life. “It is a voluntary relationship that has no veil and provides pure joy and support. It holds true both on and off screen.” His best friend is his wife, and he values her honesty. Though he stressed that he hasn’t made any close friends on the set for now, he has surely made friends.
How has friendship contributed to your personal and professional growth? “My friendships have contributed heavily to my personal growth. I have learned about the world through them and learned vice and virtue from them. These lessons have indirectly helped me in my profession as well. But friendships have not been a contributing factor to my professional journey because I believe that profession and friendship should not be mixed,” Vimarsh added.
