Adorning diverse faces, each reflecting the true essence of humanity, the greatest deity is nature itself. And celebrating the majestic and divine masks depicted in Indian mythology is the festival known as Bohada.
Scheduled to meet audiences in 2025, the announcement of Bohada couldn’t have come at a better time, coinciding with the celebration of Gudi Padwa. The film, produced by Manigandan Manjunathan from the south, is set to showcase the grandeur of this tradition.
Rahul Satish Patil, Krutika Tulsakar Devrukhkar, and Vishal Sakaram Devrukhkar co-produce, with Ambhar Vinod Hadap taking charge of the screenplay. Currently, the artists involved in this film remain undisclosed.

The uniqueness of this festival lies in its traditional roots, and through this film, we aim to bring this tradition to life. We hope to spread the essence of this festival to the masses. The film’s uniqueness lies in its connection with nature, incorporating elements of joy, suspense, and thrill. Audiences are in for a spectacular experience. There are 52 weeks in a year, each with its own significance, and through this film, we aim to showcase their importance. This film is not just about entertainment; it’s about celebrating the rich culture embedded in Maharashtra’s jungles, a theme that resonates with filmmakers from the south as well.”
