Vishwas Saraf, who is seen as Shanky in Sargun Mehta and Ravie Dubey’s Badall Pe Paon Hai, which is produced under their banner Dreamiyata Entertainment Private Limited, will be celebrating Raksha Bandhan with his sister. He said, “I’m planning to visit my sisters before leaving for the shoot. But honestly, I hope that I get an off for that day because I would love to spend my whole day with my sisters, hanging out or going on a short road trip with them.”
Sharing a special Raksha Bandhan memory, he said, “I remember all my siblings and cousins gathering up at my Nani’s place on Raksha Bandhan and hanging out over there. We used to spend our whole day watching TV shows and playing games. Those were the good old days.”
Despite his busy schedule, he manages to stay connected with his siblings through a phone or video call between shots or whenever he is free on the sets and on his off days. He added, “I tend to pay a surprise visit to their house or their gym to spend some quality time. My favorite of all is a little road trip with my siblings.”
Vishwas also shared his thoughts on the unfortunate Kolkata incident where a trainee doctor was raped and murdered at the RG Kar Hospital. He said, “It shivered my soul when I got to know what happened in Kolkata. We should definitely highlight safety and protection for all, but more than that, I guess it is crucial to use actions instead of words to make people understand that women are not objects who can be used for anything. We come from a culture where women are worshiped; let us all keep it that way.”
