Actor Vivaan Arora, who has been part of Punjabi films like Dramebaaz Kalakaar and Haq: The Right, a music video alongside Tochi Raina, and TV shows like Supercop Super Villain, Ashi, and the horror anthology Aahat, revealed that he would love to do more projects in the thriller and action genre. He said, “Thriller and action are two genres that have always excited me. There’s a certain rush in the fast-paced storytelling, the twists, and the high-stakes drama. Thrillers especially keep you on your toes as an actor — they demand you to balance intensity and subtle emotion because every scene can shift the entire narrative.”
“With action, it’s the adrenaline that pulls me in — the energy, the physical demands, and the sheer transformation that comes with portraying someone who’s constantly battling challenges. Whether it’s a dramatic face-off or a gripping stunt sequence, these roles push you to go beyond your comfort zone. That’s what makes both genres so powerful — not just for the actor, but also for the audience who gets completely pulled into the story,” he added.
As an actor, though he has spent a fair share of time in front of the camera, he is still waiting for that one project that feels fulfilling. “Honestly, I don’t think I’ve found that one project yet that’s made me feel completely fulfilled. I’m thankful for every opportunity that’s come my way — each role has taught me valuable lessons, helped me evolve, and brought me a step closer to discovering who I am as an actor.“ “That said, I’m still waiting for a character or a story that truly hits home — something that makes me stop and say, ‘This is it.’ I’m searching for a role that pushes me both emotionally and creatively, something that lingers in my mind even after pack-up. I know that kind of project will come when the time is right — and when it does, I’ll pour my heart and soul into it,” he added.
Talking about his music video experience, he revealed that it was a beautiful experience because music videos are a different kind of storytelling. He said, “In a music video, you don’t rely on lengthy dialogues to convey emotion — it’s all about your expressions, the way you move, and matching the vibe of the music. It’s like performing in sync with the rhythm, and that makes the connection to the song feel very intimate and real.” “Also, the shoot moves quickly, so you need to hit the right emotion in a short amount of time. There’s not much room for retakes or overthinking. I really enjoyed the experience — it taught me how powerful subtle expression can be, and how much you can communicate without saying a single word,” he added.
Vivaan chose to step away from the camera for sometime due to some family responsibilities, however, couldn’t stay away for long. He said, “Yes, I did take some time off from acting. There were personal matters and family obligations that needed my attention, along with a few business issues that I had to deal with. It wasn’t easy stepping away, but sometimes life puts you in a place where you have to focus on what’s most important in that moment.” “That said, acting was never really out of my system. It’s always been more than just a career for me — it’s something I genuinely love. Even while I was away, there was always this inner voice reminding me that my true place is in front of the camera. I missed the feeling of slipping into a character, living their journey, and telling stories that connect with people. That pull became too strong to ignore. Eventually, I knew I had to come back. Acting gives me a sense of fulfillment nothing else can — and now that I’m back, I’m here with even more focus and fire than before,” Vivaan shared.
