Warkaris at Sadhu Vaswani Mission in homage

On July 1, 2024, Sadhu Vaswani Mission in Pune was filled with spiritual fervour as Warkaris, devoted followers of Lord Vitthala, made a memorable stop at the Mission during their annual pilgrimage to Pandharpur. Amidst the melodious chants of ‘Vitthal Vitthal Jay Hari Vitthal’ and the rhythmic tambura sounds, the Warkaris were warmly welcomed by Didi Krishna Kumari, Head of the Sadhu Vaswani Mission and the members.

Didi Krishna and all the attendees joined them in singing soul-stirring abhangas, traditional devotional songs eulogizing the virtues of Lord Vitthala. Didi Krishna then graciously served prasad to them including food items traditionally consumed during holy fasts, further enhancing the spiritual bond shared among all present.

They also uttered the forgiveness prayer in accordance with Dada J.P Vaswani’s upcoming birthday, which is celebrated as Global Forgiveness Day. She asked them to observe 2 Minutes of Peace at 2 pm on August 2.

One of the Warkaris shared, “This is my third time visiting the mission. Whenever I visit here, I feel calm and closer to Lord Vitthala.”
