On 21st June 2025, Warkaris made their traditional annual visit to Sadhu Vaswani Mission, Pune, offering prayers and homage at the sacred samadhis of Sadhu Vaswani and Dada Vaswani. Their visit this year was a rare divine convergence with the sacred Ekadashi.
The pilgrims stood at the samadhi and sang soul-stirring abhangs. Many of them also took part in the havan fire. A lead kirtankaar, referring to Sadhu Vaswani, said softly, “Sadhuji was also singing with us.”
Sudhir, a regular pilgrim, said, “Mi dar veles purna aaswaad gheto — each time, I savour this experience completely.”
Ganesh, a senior, was deeply moved. “What the Mission does is just what God has taught — seva with compassion. Even during the global calamity of COVID, we heard the Mission never stopped helping.” He added with emotion, “As an aged person, it touches my heart that the Mission hosts and honours seniors like me and my friends with such care and respect. We await the next visit.”

Another woman among the pilgrims spoke of the joy of mingling and connecting with others in a spirit of unity. With a smile, she extended a warm invitation to the Mission: “You must all join us for the Wari next year!”
The Mission reverberated with devotional energy as the Warkaris, filled with faith, brought their holy chants and prayers. As a token of love, each pilgrim was presented with sweet bottled drinks, towels, napkins, packets of upwas-friendly chiwda, chikki, two bananas, and a mango—all thoughtfully planned for Ekadashi’s fast, and neatly packed in reusable, eco-friendly cloth bags.
This cherished annual interaction left hearts uplifted on both sides. The Warkaris continued on their sacred journey with joy renewed, and the Mission felt deeply blessed by their presence and prayers. It is said: To serve a bhakta is to verily serve God Himself.
