In the show Appi Aamchi Collector, Amol’s family is trying hard to keep him happy during Diwali. Swapnil and Rupali have decided to hide the truth about Amol’s illness to give him peace of mind. However, as everyone prepares for Diwali, Deepya unexpectedly reveals Amol’s illness to the family. Shocked by the news, the family initially decides to send Rupali and her family out of the house. Amol, however, defends them, explaining that their intentions were good.
Amol then takes charge, assigning everyone tasks to bring the family together for Diwali. Yet, tensions between Appi and Rupali remain unresolved. On Diwali morning, Amol encourages everyone to come together to decorate the house and prepare for the puja. However, the atmosphere turns serious again when Appi and Arjun take Amol to the doctor, who informs them that chemotherapy is the only option for his treatment. Overwhelmed but determined, Appi and Arjun decide to support him through this journey. While at the hospital, Sankalp shows Amol a press conference video where Appi and Arjun mention being together only for his sake. Hurt by this, Amol leaves.
