Known for delivering back-to-back blockbusters and hits like War, Pathaan, and Fighter, director Siddharth Anand has locked in his next directorial project. According to reports, his next film will be a ‘standalone mega-budget action film’, produced under his production house Marflix Pictures and by producer Mamta Anand.
Sources indicate that Anand has been working on the script for a while and is excited to start this project, marking his 9th directorial venture. Media reports also suggest that Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan starrer King will be produced by Siddharth Anand and directed by Sujoy Ghosh. The filmmaker is currently busy with his production venture, Jewel Thief, which reunites him with Saif Ali Khan after 17 years.
A source also mentioned that the filmmaker is working on the script for Krrish 4. Anand’s lineup of projects doesn’t stop at Jewel Thief. He has also developed a female-led action film, currently in the casting stage. Rumors also suggest that Anand might be working on a sequel to Pathaan or Fighter or Tiger vs Pathaan. The source further revealed, “Siddharth (Anand) has locked his next directorial venture, which is a standalone mega-budget action film for Marflix. He has been working on the script for a while and is very excited to start his 9th directorial venture.” Siddharth Anand, along with producer Mamta Anand, has over six films in the pipeline for their production ventures.
