Yog’s Retreat invites Calgarians to pause, reconnect and begin again

In a world that rarely pauses, Yog’s Retreat is creating space for people to do exactly that.

It is inviting participants to step away from the demands of everyday life and embark on a soulful journey of wellness, reflection and renewal.

Organized around the theme ‘Aarambh: Unwind. Unlearn. Relearn’, the three-day retreat is scheduled for September 18 to 20. The retreat is designed for people of all yoga levels. Led by Manogyan Mishra, founder of Yog Studio, the experience is designed to bring participants back to the basics of wellbeing—movement, breath, stillness, reflection and connection.

The programme includes a variety of yoga and wellness practices, including Sun Salutation flows, rope yoga, wall yoga and aerial yoga. Participants can also take part in chanting Om and mantras, chakra healing, Ho’oponopono prayer, Hatha yoga with Moon Salutation flows, yoga nidra and tratak meditation.

It also includes vegan lunch and beverages, creating an environment that supports mindful living and relaxation.

The retreat’s message is centered on taking time for oneself and creating space to rejuvenate, relax, reconnect, recharge and reawaken.
