Child actor Vedant Sinha, known for The White Tiger, Noor, TGIF, and Criminal Justice 3, is all set to return as the mischievous yet endearing Atharv in The Family Man Season 3, one of the most anticipated projects from filmmaker duo Raj & DK. With his sharp wit and natural screen presence, Vedant had already won audiences over in the earlier seasons of the franchise.
Reflecting on his journey with the acclaimed creators, Vedant shares how the experience has deeply shaped him as an actor. “Raj & DK sir have a very distinct way of storytelling; it’s fresh, real, yet filled with layers of excitement. They make every character matter, whether big or small. The atmosphere on their sets is so comfortable and encouraging that you naturally want to experiment and grow. They don’t tell you what to do; they help you discover it yourself,” he explains.
He goes on to describe the duo as “filmmakers with an incredible blend of intellect and creativity,” adding that their vision has completely redefined Indian storytelling. “Their stories are grounded in human emotion. Even the tiniest moment in their scripts carries meaning. They believe in authenticity and spontaneity, and that has helped me understand that acting isn’t about doing more, it’s about being truthful,” Vedant says.
Working under Raj & DK, he shares, has given him a strong base to evolve as a performer. “They’ve taught me to listen more, observe deeply, and trust my instincts. I’ve become calmer and more honest as an actor. The environment on The Family Man 3 sets is peaceful, things just flow smoothly, and somehow magic happens in front of the camera.”
Recalling one of the most valuable lessons he learned from them, Vedant smiles, “They always say good acting isn’t about exaggeration; it’s about staying real and present. They’re like those cool teachers who make you do your homework without making it feel like a task.”
