This August, the box office is set to witness a grand spectacle. The highly anticipated film Dharmaveer - 2 is scheduled for release on August 9, coinciding with Kranti Din (Revolution Day). Notably, the film will be released simultaneously in Marathi and Hindi worldwide. Recently, the film’s poster was unveiled in the presence of Honorable Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, renowned actor Bobby Deol, directors Sachin Pilgaonkar, Mahesh Kothare, Mahesh Manjrekar, and veteran actor Ashok Saraf.
Dharmaveer - 2 is produced by Zee Studios and Sahil Motion Arts, with Mangesh Desai and Umesh Kumar Bansal at the helm. Pravin Vitthal Tarde has taken on multiple roles, including story, screenplay, dialogues, and direction, while Mahesh Limaye has served as the cameraman. Filming for the movie began in November. The previous film,Dharmaveer… Mukkam Post Thane, depicted the life journey of the late Anand Dighe. Actor Prasad Oak’s portrayal of Dighe Saheb was highly praised and the film received numerous awards.
